President Zurabishvili did not veto the amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses. The statement was made by the President at a special briefing a few minutes ago.

Salome Zurabishvili did not see any legal arguments for this and noted that the amendments do not contradict the Constitution of Georgia.
The new amendments do not contradict our Constitution, they cannot be considered a violation of a legal principle, nor do they disregard any international standard. In this case, the legal basis for the veto was insufficient, "Salome Zurabishvili said.
The expectations of the opposition that signed the Charles Michel document did not come true - the President again did not use her veto power.
