Nika Melia's bail was transferred to the account of the Tbilisi Enforcement Bureau at three o'clock Tbilisi time - the head of GYLA made a statement, explaining the role played by the Association in paying Nika Melia's bail.

Nika Simonishvili also explained the procedures - as he says, the prosecutor's office can apply to the court before the transferred amount is reflected in the account:
While it may not yet be reflected in the account, it is important to note that it is not necessary to reflect this amount in the account either. On the contrary, sometimes a petition is filed, when we know and it is confirmed that the money has been transferred, in these conditions there is a possibility that the Prosecutor's office will go to court and the court will make a decision and afterwards the money will be reflected in the account, "said the GYLA chairman.
