Nika Melia is free - city court satisfies the motion

Nika Melia is free - Tbilisi City Court has released one of the leaders of the opposition on bail.

Melia himself did not attend today's hearing because he had been earlier expelled  from the trial  by the judge.

Nika Melia's bail in the amount of 40 000 GEL was paid by the European Union on May 8, and yesterday, May 9, the prosecutor's office applied to the court to change the preventive  measure.
