Nika Melia's first comment after his release from prison

I wish freedom to all political prisoners and inmates. no matter what their sentence is, everyone makes mistakes in life, sooner or later I wish them to be released and return to their families, whether they are detained on political grounds or not, although many in the prison in where I was held, were political prisoners and I wish them freedom ...

I also want to say  thanks to all the supporters,those who supported stability in the country ... Thanks and appreciation for the work and diligence of the EU Ambassador Carl Hartzell, his effort in this process .. I thank him as a person, I have reasons to emphasize this ... Thanks also to President Michel for his contribution to this important process.
However, I would like to give a special thanks to the Zigimantas Pavilionis. This is the man who chaired the Lithuanian Foreign Affairs Committee who without exaggeration, awakened the international community, and when I was most in need, he came to Georgia and came to the UNM headquarters to show solidarity, and after that he did a great job to get the reaction of the international community. If not for Pavilionis, I do not think this result would have happened ...
