Confrontation in Dmanisi - Talakvadze accuses opponents of trying to mislead the public

Former Parliament Speaker Archil Talakvadze responded to the controversy in Dmanisi, saying that it was unacceptable to package the incident in the same way as the ethnic controversy.
According to Talakvadze, all those who were abuse on the spot should be held accountable according to the law.
"Wrapping up this incident and taking it out as a confrontation on ethnic grounds is unacceptable to our citizens. It is damaging to our society and of course it is an attempt by opponents to mislead the public.
The full support of the legislature in order to enforce the law and those who violated the law, those who were abuseive, of course, should be held accountable in accordance with the law," Talakvadze said.
