GYLA proposed its opinions on the amnesty to the “Georgian Dream” and the members of the Georgian parliament.
“GYLA believes that with the complete exclusion of the possibility of extending amnesty under Articles 144 1-3 of the Criminal Code, the amnesty should not be extended to Article 333, Part 3, Subparagraph’s “b” and “c” of the Criminal Code (abuse of the power granted by office by violence or by using a weapon / insulting the personal dignity of the victim). If there is no shared opinion on the non-extension of amnesty under Article 333, the law must take into account the consent of the victim as a mandatory precondition, Article 333 3 3 (b) and (c) of the Amnesty Criminal Code. On distribution in relation to sub-paragraphs – states “GYLA"
