Georgia has everything to take to the skies-- Carl Hartzell

“When we talk about Georgia’s European choice and its challenges, I recall one of my first interviews upon arrival to Georgia, where I compared Georgia to a plane, which was ready to fly, as soon as the flight path was cleared of obstacles

I would say the same thing today. It is no exaggeration to say that Georgia has everything to take to the sky, even with a ballistic craft. I have repeatedly witnessed the clearing of the runway of obstructions, although fairness demands that there are still a certain amount of rock fragments on the runway. All of these obstacles are not caused by domestic production, some of them are caused by pandemics and growing problems in the region."

EU Ambassador Carl Hartzell said this at the Joint Conference of the Government of Georgia and the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum – Georgia's National Platform
