The Strasbourg court has started proceedings in the case of Gigi Ugulava. The information is spread by the opposition politician himself, and he writes that it concerns the case on the basis of which he was arrested in 2020.

On February 10, the Supreme Court sentenced the former mayor of the capital to three years, two months and eight days in prison. On May 15, he was pardoned by President Salome Zurabishvili.
