Robert Sturua, the artistic director of the Rustaveli Theater, responds to the troupe's planned tours in Russia on Facebook and writes:

"You sold Georgia! Davit Gareji, Abkhazia, Gali, Samachablo - and now you are slandering the Rustaveli Theater? Why? Because are invited to Russia for the Chekhov Festival?" Stutua wrote on Facebook.
