A march to support Zaza Gakheladze begins in Tbilisi

To support Zaza Gakheladze! - Members of the anti-occupation movement, civil activists and politicians are gathering in the Republic Square at the moment. They will leave in the village of Kvemo Chala in a few minutes in convoys of cars and join the rally of the Gakheladze family.

Civil activists say it is time for action because, despite numerous promises from the authorities, the government has not taken any effective steps to end Gakheladze's illegal captivity.

We would like to remind you that Zaza Gakheladze has been in custody for more than 11 months, the de facto Tskhinvali authorities and their so-called court sentenced him to 12 years and 6 months in prison. Despite the promises, the government could not release Zaza Gakheladze.
