Lelo leader Mamuka Khazaradze has come out with the initiative that if Georgian Dream continued the process of appointing judges, the opposition would leave parliament. He made a statement at the plenary session and accused the ruling team of violating the recommendations of the Venice Commission and failing to comply with the agreement document.
"I would like to voice the initiative of the Lelo - Partnership for Georgia faction and ask the opposition to share this initiative. If the Georgian Dream starts to force this issue similarly, i.e. the process of appointing judges, I will call on the entire opposition to leave the parliament, and you will be left alone," Mamuka Khazaradze said.
According to him, he wants to send a message to the US and EU ambassadors to Georgia, as well as to Charles Michel. Khazaradze says that what is happening is a betrayal of the country, and they will not allow the country to have a politicized justice again.
"Georgian Dream" is not going to stop the process of appointing judges.
