"Senator shaheen and I have met with Georgian politicians and, in my view, they have too much hope for the United States to solve their problems," said Sen. Jim Risch at a Senate Foreign Relations Committee meeting.
The main message of the US senator for Georgian politicians is that all political parties set aside their interests and work together to implement the April 19 agreement.
"Political parties in Georgia must put aside all differences and work together to implement the April 19 agreement to improve democratic institutions in the country. Senator shaheen and I have met with Georgian politicians and, in my view, they have too much hope for the United States to solve their problems. Because of this, I always tell them that they, themselves, should do whatever it takes for their country," said Jim Risch.
