The Elections will be held on October 2

The date of the local self-government elections, similar to the parliamentary elections, will be determined by law and will be written in the "Election Code":

The next elections of the representative body of the municipality - city council and the mayor of the self-governing city / self-governing community will be held on the first Saturday of October of the next election year.

According to this record, the 2021 local elections will be held on October 2nd.

The draft amendments to the Election Code will be considered in the second reading at the plenary sitting of the Parliament.
