"He is charged on political grounds" || Another trial in the Nika Gvaramia case

One of the main prosecution witnesses in the case of Mtavari Channel CEO Nika Gvaramia was questioned in the city court - it is the lawyer of Nino Nijaradze, 10% shareholder of Rustavi 2.

According to Nika Gvaramia's lawyer Dmitri Sadzaglishvili, the interrogation of Giorgi Kavlashvili did not change the circumstances of the case, which once again shows that the case against the Director of Mtavari  Channel was indeed a political order. The Prosecutor's Office is accusing Nika Gvaramia of embezzlement of property rights at Rustavi 2, during the period when he was the Director of the company.
