Pride Week Day One – Members of radical groups try to disrupt the event

The first day and the first event of Tbilisi Pride Week started with commotion; The members of the ultra-radical group rallied against the Pride participants and tried to disrupt the event.

Emergency measures have been taken by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Opponents of Pride Week have arrived in the area where the first event of Pride Week is planned. Protesters are demanding that the events not be held. Police are mobilized on the spot.
