The US Ambassador is hosting members of the government and the opposition

Reception at the US Ambassador's residence - Kelly Degnan hosts guests two days before Independence Day. Members of the government, leaders of political parties and representatives of non-governmental organizations are present at the reception with the American diplomat.

"Our close relationship is a precondition for our children and grandchildren to be proud of what the American people are proud of," said Nick Melia, UNM leader.

"Without America, our country would not be able to accept the modern views we have," said Temur Chkonia, president of Coca-Cola Bottlers Georgia.
