According to the Prime Minister, Irakli Gharibashvili, the opposition is behind the pride march.

At the government session, Gharibashvili said that the march was being organized by the opposition, led by Mikheil Saakashvili.

"Unfortunately, the organizers of today's rally are backed by revanchist and radical groups. In particular, the radical opposition led by Saakashvili. They try to bring civil unrest and chaos, which, of course, will not happen and we will not allow it," Gharibasvili said.
