The government's statements encouraged violence, it is shameful- MEP Thijs Reuten

MEP Thijs Reuten responds to the events of July 5 in Tbilisi and writes that the government's statements have encouraged violence against the LGBTQ community. In his opinion, it was shameful.

Extremely disappointed in Georgian authorities. Instead of protecting everyone it seems government statements have encouraged the appalling anti-LGBTQI violence and put lives of many peaceful Tbilisi pride marchers and activists in danger. Shameful!
