Zura Japaridze, the leader of the "Girchi - More Freedom" party, addresses the public on his Facebook. He protests against the events in Tbilisi yesterday and blames the government and the Patriarchate for what happened.
"It was a well-organized special operation carried out jointly by the government and the patriarchate. This darkness halts the progress of this country and kills the future of our children.
Today, at 8 o'clock in the evening, go out on Rustaveli and stand in silence. Nobody is asking for anything, there will be no rally, there will be no microphones, there will be no shouting, there will be no music and nothing, just go out and stand for an hour," said Zura Japaridze.
Alongside Jafaridze, several other politicians and parties, as well as NGO's, media outlets and activists decided to join the silent protest, including: Shame, Its time, European Georgia, Lelo and etc.
