Even after 2 days of violence and homophobic rallies, Tbilisi Mayor Kakhi Kaladze claims that LGBTQ people in Georgia live without any problems and no one violates their rights

Kaladze reiterated today that he does not consider that holding a pride march or having “this kind of propaganda” is expedient
"Everyone has the right to freedom of expression, but there is a responsibility here that your freedom of expression should not violate others’ rights. Personally, I said that I do not consider it expedient to hold Pride, however these people exist, and they have the opportunity to live without any problems, no one is persecuting them, no one is violating their rights. They live and exist normally and, I repeat, I do not consider it expedient to popularize and propagate in this direction," said Kakhi Kaladze.
