Another unsuccessful conspiracy against the state - Gharibashvili is not going to resign

Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili is not going to resign. He called the large-scale protest against the death of Lekso Lashkaravia the cameraman of TV Pirveli, a failed plot against the state.

"Of course, this is another, unsuccessful conspiracy against the state. The conspiracy planned by the anti-state and anti-church forces could not and will never take place in our country. It is a tragedy. We have all seen that they tried to use this man’s tragedy to achieve their own political goals. What could be more immoral than trying to achieve your own political goals through the tragedy of a person who died.
No matter what was the reason of Alexander Lashkarava's death, all the perpetrators will be severely punished. I want to state once again that any violence is unacceptable, we condemn, we will always condemn and prevent violence in the country," Irakli Gharibashvili said.

He said any violence is unacceptable and condemned. According to Gharibashvili, violence will not be allowed, despite the fact that 53 journalists were abused and quite a number of media representatives were attacked.
