According to the chairperson of the United National Movement - Strength is in Unity faction, Khatia Dekanoidze, the faction members will not continue their activities in the parliament.
According to Dekanoidze, the party will take part only in a vote of no confidence to the government. Moreover, the only case when the faction will take part in the voting will be the voting for the Constitution of Georgia.
"We, the United National Movement - Strength is in Unity faction, of course, will not continue to participate in the routine process of this hypocritical fake parliament. Of course, we will be with the citizens of Georgia, with the journalists who are literally being killed and no one wants to hold Irakli Garibashvili accountable.
We will be where the interest of every citizen of Georgia is, it cannot continue like this. We will take part only in the process of declaring a vote of no confidence in the Georgian government.
"The issue of dismissal of all members of the government of Irakli Gharibashvili, Gomelauri and Georgia, and here, of course, we will participate in the only case, it will be a vote for the Constitution of Georgia," - said Khatia Dekanoidze.
The opposition has left the courtroom and is starting consultations. Lelo leaders made a statement and said they should actively start discussing the no-confidence motion procedure for the government.
