Parliament fails to elect CEC Chairman and members

Candidates for the position of the Chairman of the Central Election Commission failed to get 2/3 of the Parliamentarian votes. Neither Giorgi Santuriani nor Giorgi Kalandarishvili could get the required 100 votes. Kalandarishvili received 88 votes today.
Voting procedures will be held additionally, but if the candidates still do not get 2/3 of the votes, in this case the temporary chairman of the CEC will be approved by the Georgian Dream by a majority.
The parliamentary voting procedure has already been completed.
