The Speaker of the Parliament, Kakha Kuchava, responded to the protest banners and protests of the journalists in the session hall and once again told them to continue their activities as before. According to him, the actions of media representatives go beyond journalistic activities.
"The meeting is closed then. Unfortunately, the reason for this was the destructive actions, the violence that we see in the hall and this is the accepted form. If you wish to convene, there are appropriate procedures in place, a committee meeting will be held or an extraordinary session meeting may be rescheduled.
We can also express dissatisfaction and Parliament will definitely be the right place where we will ask all the critical questions if we do not like something or something is not being done. [...] Do not allow destruction and disruption in the hall, especially with your actions that go beyond journalistic activities. My request will be for you to return to your work," Kuchava said.
