Gia Iakobashvili, editor-in-chief of the pro-Russian publication For.ge, who admitted on Facebook yesterday that he had organized the hate poster spreading in the capital, did not answer the questions of the "Mtavari Channel".

Iakobashvili was a member of the board of the Public Broadcaster, and in 2007-2008 he was employed in the Public Relations Department of the Georgian Technical University. In 2009, he moved to another position. It is reported that Iakobashvili is still registered at the Technical University so far. University staff confirm that they know Gia Iakobashvili, but deny that he still works at the Technical University.

Iakobashvili's family members are mainly associated with the Georgian Dream - his nephew was employed as a cameraman in the City Hall press service, and his wife, Eka Machitadze, works for the Didube-Chugureti district administration.
