Irakli Kobakhidze, chairman of the Georgian Dream, says that no matter what the outcome of the self-government elections, no snap elections will be called. According to him, it is unclear what percentage the ruling team will get in the next elections.
"I can confidently say that we have already said in principle that the outcome of the local elections will not depend on the outcome of the snap elections in any way, shape, or form.
The results of the local self-government elections will not matter. Even if we get 3%, like "Lelo" no snap parliamentary elections will be called, if we get 93%, still no snap elections will be called," said Irakli Kobakhidze.
Kobakhidze again repeats that the elections will depend on their good will.
"We have said that at any time, if we see that the situation is ripe, in order to form a healthy coalition government in Georgia, in this case we will make a decision of our own free will, but it can not be tied to the outcome of self-government elections," he said.
According to him, first, the behavior of the opposition will be given importance.
