2021 Elections - UNM and European Georgia apply to CEC for registration

The United National Movement and European Georgia have officially applied to the CEC to run in the 2021 local elections.
The opposition is convinced that the rule of the "Georgian Dream" will end in October. According to them, this is a very important election, which should bring early elections to the country.
Earlier, 14 political entities applied to the CEC, including 6 already registered. These are political entities that have no representatives in parliament and did not participate in the last parliamentary elections. According to the CEC, the parties that have their own representative in the parliament must apply by August 6. They have more than 1 month to submit the electoral list,
For reference, the pre-election campaign for the 2021 self-government elections officially started yesterday, August 3rd.
