If anything contradicts the good-neighborly relations between Georgia and Russia, which are based on equal and mutual respect, it is Russia's aggressive policy, its illegal occupation of Georgian territories, violation of our country's territorial integrity and internationally recognized state borders. Accordingly, the future of good neighborly relations between Georgia and the Russian Federation lies in the de-occupation of Georgian territories and Russia's respect for our country's sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders," the statement said.
