The government, which has taken the path of deliberate isolation, may cause irreparable damage to the country. The author of another stern warning is the European Union, which does not rule out raising the issue of visa-free regime cancellation for Georgia on the agenda.
The special report of the European Commission states that Georgia must complete the reform of the Supreme Court and the procedure for selecting judges to be fully in line with European standards. The document also emphasizes the high level of corruption and the need to reform the prosecutor's office.
In parallel with the European Commission report, a statement was made by the Russian Foreign Ministry, which expressed readiness to normalize relations with Georgia.
