Political dismissals of public school principals continue. Most of them have already openly stated that for years the Georgian Dream has tried to use the resources of teachers and principals through pre-election repression and threats.
"The reason is political, they wanted me to be their propagandist," said Ramin Chitishvili, a former principal at Tserovani School No. 3.
"Before every election, the village representative threatened me," said the former principal of Ksani Public School
According to the ISFED report, 112 principals were terminated this year alone on political grounds.
The report also says that public school principals and teachers are being forced to engage in election campaigns and the continuation of their job is used as a leverage against them.
