The State Security Service has issued a statement regarding the illegal activities carried out by the Russian occupation forces near Gremiskhevi and writes that the illegal activities of the occupation forces near Gremiskhevi have been recorded since 2011.
"Signs of illegal activities of the occupation forces of the Russian Federation have been observed near the village of Gremiskhevi in Dusheti Municipality since 2011, during which time the so-called monitoring point of the occupation forces was illegally established in the area.
The State Security Service identifies each illegal activity of the occupation forces. A hotline is activated on a case-by-case basis and information is provided to the EUMM. Cases like this are high on the agenda of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism meetings, as well as the Geneva International Discussions. In this context, of course, the illegal activities carried out by the Russian occupation forces in the direction of Mtskheta-Mtianeti are no exception, for which the Russian Federation bears full responsibility.
It should be emphasized that the coverage of occupation-related topics requires a precise and careful approach to the issue, so as not to damage the state's de-occupation policy and instill a sense of fear and insecurity in the local population," the SSG said.
