Extensive amnesty for convicts in minor and less serious crimes - UNM initiative

At the initiative of the UNM, a wide amnesty should be announced because of the large scale epidemics in prisons and those convicted of minor and less serious crimes should be released immediately. Sopho Japaridze made a statement about it.

According to her, the lives of the prisoners must be saved, the infrastructure in the prisons is faulty and the only solution to the difficult situation is a wide amnesty for the convicts who do not pose a threat.
