According to Irakli Kobakhidze, the chairman of the Georgian Dream, financial assistance from the European Union has "no financial significance" for Georgia, and Kobakhidze explains all this by "high economic growth."

"The financial significance no longer has a point due to the fact that there is a 75 million euro loan. Thank God, the economic situation is different. An additional 1 billion GEL has been accumulated in the budget compared to the forecast and due to the high economic growth rate, it no longer has a financial burden. As for the political part, everything is up to the EU. The Georgian Dream is acting, firstly, in the interests of the country and secondly, in accordance with the objective interests of our strategic partners," Kobakhidze told Palitranius.
