The leader of "Droa", Elene Khoshtaria, responds to the statement of the Prime Minister, Irakli Gharibashvili, and says that with such steps, Georgia is moving away from the West and approaching the aggressor, occupying Russia. For reference, Gharibashvili said that the government will refrain from borrowing 75 million in aid from the European Union.
According to Khoshtaria, this decision is part of the pro-Russian nature of the Georgian Dream.
"If you are a country that wants to get closer to the EU and therefore carry out agreed (beneficial to you) democratic reforms, the EU will give you money in various forms. To create a better state, in this particular case we were given an interest-free, Long-term, Preferential loan, as long as we did not deceieve them and fulfilled our obligations, especially in the justice system reform.
Gharibashvili came out and said that, we do not want that offer from the European Union, we do not want that reform and he also lied that, the economy is booming. as if telling us that nothing is wrong and we dont need the money.
1. Citizens who we know are struggiling will no longer recieve the benefits from aid, because to give up one is to slow down the whole process.
2. The European Union was once again been rejected
3. Democracy and reforms have once again been rejected
With such steps, as if unnoticed and episodic for many, we are actually drifting away from the European Union, the West, and this automatically means approaching the aggressor occupier Russia," Elene Khoshtaria wrote.
