"To some it is aid, to others it is a loan" - Kaladze also argues that there is no need to receive the 75 million from the EU

Tbilisi mayoral candidate and leader of the Georgian Dream Kakhi Kaladze reiterates that 75 million euros in microfinance assistance from the European Union is not aid but a loan. According to him, there is no need to get a loan at this stage.

Kaladze did not like the statement of Senator Jim Risch, where he criticized the government for refusing the aid.

"It's not about help, about loans. I do not know now, for some, it this aid, to others it is a loan. What matters is that everything has its name, a loan is called a loan, aid is aid, aid in and of itself means one thing, and a loan means something else.

This is not aid, it is a loan. If we need to get a loan, we will definitely reach out to the European Union," said Kakhi Kaladze.
