"European Georgia" is suing "Imedi" in the Communications Regulatory Commission

European Georgia is suing Imedi TV in the Communications Regulatory Commission.

Imedi refused to cover the party's pre-election video, citing offensive elements in the video.

Giorgi Noniashvili, a member of European Georgia, said that the party reflected the current political situation in the clip, which was unacceptable to the TV station, and banned the video for political reasons.

"We offer a different tonality and a different video for the pre-election campaign, which is much softer in terms of tonality. It is much more fluffy and includes the main message box of the Georgian Dream, how the economy is booming, how we are in a leading position in the fight against covid, etc. We are interested in whether Imedi TV will release this type of clip," Noniashvili said at the briefing.
