Before all this, there was a lot of thinking, arguing, different versions and suggestions. But time was running out.
That’s why, for what happened exactly 2 years ago, we asked our chief founder and staff to recall and share the emotions that accompany the creation of the “Mtavari Channel”.
Nika Gvaramia - CEO:
"There were several options, the only option I thought would work was "Omega" and we came to this building, which is a bit small, we couldn't fit properly, but we created the best television
I was afraid, but fear is a great motivator for achievements and this channel, in and of itself, is a great achievement. It's the best TV channel, in Georgia, in my opinion.
Giorgi Gabunia - Creative Director of the channel, host of "Post Factum":
"There was a meeting, they talked about many things and I sat silently and drew by myself, I found some notebook, we were at Gvaramia's house, we did not even have an office yet. I drew with a pencil, first I showed Nika, then everyone expressed their opinion, they liked it, then we gave it to the head of marketing, processed it and got the final product to look like this."
The "Mtavari Channel" aired on September 9, 2019, at exactly 9 o'clock, with the "Mtavari" news program.
On May 4, 2020, the website of the channel - mtavari.tv was launched, which is distinguished by its design, simplicity and technical capabilities and works to make the readers know the news quickly and interestingly.
