Seeing The Belarussian CEC On The Election Observers List Is Outrageous - Nino Goguadze

According to Nino Goguadze, one of the leaders of the movement "Droa", the presence of the Belarusian CEC in the local self-government elections in Georgia is outrageous.

As she noted at a briefing at the party office, the CEC of Belarus falsified the results of the last presidential election in the country in such a way that it was followed by protests and hundreds of thousands of citizens.

 "As you know, the most important elections in Georgia are scheduled for October 2. These elections will be attended by observers from various organizations in many countries. It is outrageous to see the CEC of Belarus in this list. As you know, a dictatorship has been established in Belarus. The last presidential election was rigged by the CEC in such a way that 100 thousand Belarusian citizens joined the long protests. At the behest of Lukashenko, people were repeatedly brutally raided, arrested, and tortured. There were also victims. This ruthless injustice was based on the data officially published by the CEC," Goguadze said.

According to her, on October 2, it is important for the citizens to remove the "Georgian Dream" allied with Putin and Lukashenko's regime from power.

If we take into account the attitude of the Georgian authorities towards the Western democratic institutions and their advice, and at the same time recall the recent agreement with the KGB in Belarus, the path and trajectory of the Georgian Dream government becomes quite clear. Therefore, the October 2 elections are the most important elections for the independence and freedom of our state. We should see that the "Georgian Dream" allied with the regime of Putin and Lukashenko and that they should be removed from power, - said Nino Goguadze.
