According to the Public Defender, Nino Lomjaria, there is a high probability that illegal eavesdropping and gathering of information about private life is taking place in the country.

Lomjaria said the security service has the ability to do so and there is no effective control mechanism to protect ourselves.

"The security service has the ability and there is no effective control mechanism to protect us from their illegal interference in our private life, this is a fact and the Public Defender speaks about it, and we also have the current mechanism of eavesdropping appealed to the Constitutional Court.

There is a very high probability that illegal eavesdropping and collection of information about personal life are also taking place," Nino Lomjaria said.
