Nika Melia's lawyers will file a motion to question Gharibashvili in court

The trial of Nika Melia, the leader of the main opposition party and the opposition mayoral candidate, will be held in the Tbilisi City Court on June 20. The session is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.

At today's trial, Melia's human rights activists will file a motion to question the Prime Minister, Irakli Gharibashvili.

Before that, another political case is being considered in the Tbilisi City Court. The court will discuss the written evidence in the Khazaradze-Japaridze-Tsereteli case today. The remaining few witnesses are expected to be questioned today.

According to the human rights activists, these trials show political interests due to being brought into attention shortly before the elections.
