Questions were asked about the elections, we did not talk about the recordings - Kobakhidze at the meeting with the ambassadors

The meeting of the representatives of the diplomatic corps and the "Georgian Dream" ended in the office of the EU Delegation.

As Irakli Kobakhidze, the chairman of the Georgian Dream, noted, the conversation at the meeting focused only on the pre-election environment and the ambassadors have not asked anything on the secret records of the State Security Service.

"This is a standard meeting that is held before each election. We were told of this from the beginning, and it was told to all party representatives that in this case the details of the meeting would not be discussed outside. In general, we will share our vision and information with the ambassadors regarding the pre-election process and  3-4 questions were asked on various issues.

The case concerned a clean election environment, relevant issues. As for the topic of the records, no such issues were discussed. "Questions were asked only about the elections," Irakli Kobakhidze said.

For information,the leaders of the opposition will also meet with the representatives of the EU member states today.
