The third President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, spoke about the meetings held in the United States Congress and Senate.

We have many other problems in the world. If they do not want to fight, why do we have to fight for them. I heard this phrase about 15 times yesterday and the day before, If you do not want freedom, what are you expecting from us?, what are you doing and why are you bothering us here". Americans will not help us if sanctions are not imposed, no, Americans will not impose sanctions unless do something ourselves," Mikheil Saakashvili said.

He also noted that he will fulfill his promise to return to Georgia, but without the high turnout in the elections, the difficult situation in the country will not change.
