We are interested in what the European Union thinks of yesterdays events - Tsulukiani

Published:

The Minister of Culture, Vice Prime Minister Tea Tsulukiani, responded to the confrontation between the leader of the "National Movement" Nika Melia and the chairman of the "Georgian Dream" Irakli Kobakhidze at the EU office.

Tsulukiani called Melia a "professional hooligan" and said that she was interested in how the EU would assess the actions of one of the opposition leaders.

"Mr Melia claims on a daily basis that he is a professional hooligan. We want to know how his actions will be assessed by the EU, because we have always heard from them that it would be good if Nika Melia would be outside of prison, so that he could compete politically with the "dream". Here is the person and here is the competition, and we are interested in whether this is the political behavior of a politician, the things that he did yesterday," Tea Tsulukiani said.
