Self-Governance Reforms and Decentralization | The opposition signed the memorandum

Leaders of the opposition party, at the initiative of the movement "Shame", signed a memorandum calling for self-governance reforms. Politicians say their goal is to decentralize governance and establish strong self-government.
By signing the memorandum, they reaffirmed their support for all initiatives that would give people the right to participate in politics.
"It is a very important memorandum on local self-governance, because without fiscal decentralization it is impossible to have an effective and real democracy in the country, according to the change of government, which will inevitably be the result of the October 2 referendum," said Tina Bokuchava.
