Zuka Gumbaridze, CEO of Formula, says that filing a lawsuit against the founder of the channel, Davit Kezerashvili, by the Ministry of Defense is a political decision.

According to Gumbaridze, the government is trying to deal with critical channels in this way.

There was only one media left, strong financially and infrastructurally, therefore, it was necessary for the third media to be dealt with by the ruling party. This step is only related to this," Gumbaridze said.

He also noted that the next step of the government is likely to be the seizure of Davit Kezerashvili's property in Georgia, and the only interest in this case is the share of "formula".
