Mikheil Saakashvili did what he said, it's a heroic step!"| Nika Melia addresses voters

"After our victory, Mikheil Saakashvili, like many Georgian citizens, will congratulate us on our historic victory! First from jail, but soon from freedom!" - Nika Melia, chairman of the United National Movement and a joint opposition candidate for mayor of Tbilisi, said at a special briefing.

According to him the third president of Georgia knew what he was doing and made this heroic step consciously.
Nika Melia urged voters to come to the elections on October 2 and said that tomorrow the opposition would fight for victory and not for the defeat of anyone.

I greet you  with full faith in victory- this is  the first - I greet you full of boundless energy and hope - this is second! So it is and I  share with you these emotions of mine. But let's put the emotions aside,  we have a referendum tomorrow! We have a vote by which we can all, I am sure, make the only right decision! The decision to finally get rid of the corrupt government of the country! The decision to finally take the road to a brighter future! A future without poverty and hunger! Here we are on the way to quality health care and education! We will take the road to the future, where the judiciary and the prosecutor's office are independent, the police are completely depoliticized and the disgraceful political nightmare called the SSG is abolished! Today we all see the hysteria of the Dream and collapse due to the return of Mikheil Saakashvili in the country!
If this is were a  normal government, they would not even force the third president into exile at all, they would not make a mockery of themselves and the nation, and would not hunt for a man who has brought the most important changes to the country! He had every right to come to his country!
Today he is really in Georgia! Yes he was arrested as we heard, but he knew what he was coming for and deliberately took that step! After tomorrow's victory, he will be free and so will the country - being in prison is not a problem - the problem is when the country looks like a prison.
We have to express our devotion very simply - get up tomorrow, stand in line, get the ballots and finish the Dream! Circle any except 41! the UNM, And for those who vote for the UNM have an additional obligation  to free President Saakashvili by making the right  choice! This is our wish and from today our obligation!
Most importantly, tomorrow we will make the only right decision to break the vicious circle of the Georgian Dream - we will break the vicious circle of hatred, bigotry and controversy tomorrow. And I am absolutely sure, moreover, I do not doubt it in the slightest that tomorrow, we will all stand together as this is the  only way to save our homeland!
And why do we take the only right path?! We will do that  because the country that is deliberately and purposefully run with hatred is miserable! Where the government sees its chances not in unity, in consolidation, but in division, polarization, enmity, hatred!
And the homeland of all of us should by no means be miserable anymore! Our country is not a birthplace of disgust and hatred! No, and tomorrow we will all say to Ivanishvili that his regime, which is expressed in three words - impoverish, destroy, oppress - we will say to this hateful regime their that time is up! It’s time for them to fade away like a bad dream! That darkness has been defeated, and we - (I must say this without modesty) - we, those on the side of light, we - those on the side of goodness! We are on the right side of history! We - the patriots of the homeland - have won!
I am often asked - what will happen next! Here after winning the October 2 referendum?
There will be an out-of-legitimacy and undermined, defeated abusive regime, and early snap elections will be called immediately! Here, it will be and then, there will be victory in the early elections and a peaceful transfer of power to a coalition of patriotic, decent, pro-Western forces!
Putting a historical end to the years of the harsh rule of the Georgian Dream! A quiet, free from disgust, Georgia on the path of development - it shall be so! No one can record our conversations with our doctor, confessions to a preacher! No one can kill 20-year-old innovative children from the future! It shall be so! 
We will never confuse friend with foe! We will achieve our goals and become members of NATO and the European Union! Here it will be then! And finally! We will be such an attractive, developed and economically strong European country that our unity and territorial integration will be on the agenda by itself! After winning the October 2 referendum! Which will definitely come tomorrow and we will achieve it together!
Tomorrow, all of us, together, organized and calm, will go to the polls! We are going to circle any, except 41! We are going to replace the dark with light, unemployment with employment, indifference with care, corruption with decency, robbery and impoverishment - with development and wealth!
We are going to win and not defeat anyone! To win our homeland, to win the common victory of each of us and all of us! Neither lack of time, nor bad weather, nor laziness, nor any other reason will prevent us from doing this! Because the love of the homeland knows no bad weather! Because the love of the homeland does not know  lack of time! Because the love of the homeland knows no indifference! Because patriotic citizens never rest on the path of love and protection of the homeland!
History does not always provide the opportunity to decide the bright future of our Motherland, our children, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers with one move of the hand! Yes, with one gesture of the hand, by just circling anything but 41, tomorrow each of us will personally go down in the history of the country! It's time to win! And we will bring that victory tomorrow! - says Nika Melia.
