"Fortitude, Vigilance, Serenity" - Mikheil Saakshvili's adress from prison

Published:

We offer you the address of Mikheil Saakashvili from Rustavi 12th Penitentiary Establishment. The letter of the third president was read by his lawyer Nika Gvaramia after leaving prison:

Winning the second round of elections is absolutely necessary, both for the country and for my release. Now, wherever there is a second round and this is all the settlements, we must be on the attack, and we must thwart all the tricks and plans of Ivanishvili. I fully support the party chairman Nika Melia and all our winning candidates in the first round. We have to win Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi, Rutavi, Kutaisi, Telavi, Khashuri, Tsalenjikha, Senaki, Poti Tskaltubo Martvili and all other places, where not only mayors, but also majoritarians are in the second round. The most important thing is to count the votes, because the dream loses the majority almost everywhere. Therefore, despite the inequality, we must use and exhaust all legal means. We must also prepare for the pre-election rallies.

I feel your support in prison every minute, despite the fact that they restrict external contact in every possible way and the court hearing has not even been scheduled. They wait until my starvation would weaken so much that I could not go to court. I have not seen such a thing even in the most backward banana republics.

Despite all the tricks, our support is growing daily, and now we need serenity, fortitude and vigilance.

P.S. - And one more thing, all the rumors that are now being spread by the SSG by the directive of the despicable Moshe are completely ignored, it is intended to confuse us, weaken us and interfere with us. Many people want solidarity and to declare hunger strike as a sign of support. I want you to know that my hunger strike is quite enough, and I will not stop it, since here other forms of my protest are limited. Those who are outside, on the contrary, should be in good physical and moral shape for the decisive battle," Mikheil Saakashvili said in his address.
