"Now we need daily protests in various forms" - a new address by Mikheil Saakashvili

Mikheil Saakashvili releases another letter from prison, which was read by his lawyer, Dito Sadzaglishvili, after leaving the penitentiary institution:

Friends, fellow citizens, compatriots, I am infinitely proud of you, of your bright faces, intellect, sense of dignity, your words and so much support that has given me great energy, has truly given me wings.

Of course, the regime will do its best not to release me, but it will not succeed. That is why now we need daily protests in different forms, everywhere in Georgia, because I will be able to help you to the very end only if I am healthy and free, and only you can accomplish this, and I know that we will be able to work miracles together when I am outside.

In parallel with the fight for my release, we are preparing and fighting for the election victory.

Yesterday finally convinced me that we too will win the election and I too will be free. The pace and the exact time of my release now depend on your daily orderliness," Mikhail Saakashvili said in his address.

The third president also addressed the emigrants:

"I would like to appeal to the emigrants to come to Georgia for at least a week by the end of the month for the decisive battle. The situation is ripe, and now, laxation is tantamount to a crime. Victory is at hand, and we will all come out of this swamp together very soon. We need many thousands of emigrants, I know that travel is associated with many difficulties, but now it will bring a crucial advantage in protecting the votes and supporting me," Mikheil Saakashvili said in a statement.
