The lawyer does not rule out the possibility that if necessary, for Mikheil Saakashvili to receive visitors in his cell, as he has to walk some distance to the meeting room, which is an additional burden on his health.

Beka Basilaia recently arrived at Rustavi 12th Prison. He will visit the third president, and after that it will be known in detail what condition Mikheil Saakashvili is in on the 18th day of the hunger strike:

"We are relying on the doctor's latest statement. We will visit today and tell you more after the visit. Decision-making (pardon) by the President is the most effective way. Trials are not scheduled yet, as for the doctors, hopefully in the coming days, even today, they (a team of doctors) will enter and visit," said Basilaia.
