There are no conditions here for the treatment of psychiatric prisoners. Consequently, these prisoners are a threat to the outside world and, first of all, to Mikheil Saakashvili, and what is a very important, an even more serious violation is that there are no orderlies in the prison hospital today and their functions are  performed by prisoners who work as ordelies. This is a complete disaster. I do not want to insult these prisoners who work as orderlies, but the fact is that these prisoners will have direct access to Mikheil Saakashvili," said Nika Gvaramia.

Nika Gvaramia once again states that the defense completely rules out the transfer of Mikheil Saakashvili to the prison hospital, because they have information about the so-called mock riot.

"Based on the above:

1) The prison hospital is unlicensed to provide the assistance that Mikheil Saakashvili needs; They do not have the appropriate specialists who can provide this assistance, they do not have the appropriate equipment and this equipment is being mobilized now;

2) the qualifications of the doctors working there do not meet the high requirements that must be set for the specialists who will discuss the health condition of Saakashvili;

3) We completely rule out the transfer of Saakashvili to the Republican Hospital for security reasons. Due to the fact that we have information about a mock riot;

We have information about a mock riot, Saakashvili will be under constant stress and there will be non-stop harassment by the prisoners and banging of metal objects while there is  no sound insulation. It will be in Saakashvili's hearing area constantly, which is an incredible psychological pressure on Saakashvili  and most importantly, as I have already told you, there are people here, one doctor I named - surgeon Kote Chanturia – who was sent to prison for kidnapping a child while the National Movement was in power and it is impossible to even trust his impartiality and safety and as I mentioned, the main problem is psychiatric prisoners who are aggressive and prone to violence and who cannot be treated there and also their isolation from the outside world cannot be ensured in this hospital and an even more important danger - the orderlies  in this facility are prisoners and these orderlies have full access to any patient, including Mikheil Saakashvili.
